I
am now able to sell mead directly to consumers and have it shipped to
your door. To order mead, simple email me at meads@gci.net and tell me
how many of each variety you want (see ‘Our Meads’) . For snail mail
send to “Celestial Meads, 700 W. 41st Ave., Unit H, Anchorage AK
99508”. I will email (or snail mail) back the costs, including shipping
and handling.
You must state truthfully in your email or
letter that you are 21 years of age or older AND you must provide valid
identification of your age to Fedex at the time of delivery, or the
package
will be returned to me. I will then need confirmation from
you and your credit card info, or you can send a check. You must state
truthfully in you email or letter that you are 21 years of age or older
AND you must provide valid identification of this to Fedex at the time
of delivery, or the package will be returned to me.
Legal Locations
If you live in the following states, I
cannot legally ship to you.
Alabama,
Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York,
Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee,
Utah, West Virginia (zipcodes 54009, 54013, 54023, 54027, 54035, 54039,
54043, 54049, 54075, 54087, 54097, 54099, 54103, others OK),
Wisconsin. Some of these states do allow me to ship to you IF
you
come to Alaska and purchase the mead on premises.
If
you think this is unfair, so do I. If you want to get this changed go
to FreetheGrape.org and get involved in local efforts to change these
silly, puritanical laws. But be prepared for a fight. These laws
benefit ONLY the distributors and the politicians to whom they give
money either directly through campaign contributions or through state
taxes. And they have lots of money with which to buy your
congress[wo]men.
In
Alaska I can ship thru Fedex to Anchorage, Juneau, Fairbanks,
Ketchikan, Kodiak, Sitka, and Valdez only. It may be possible
to
ship to other locations via air freight, but I cannot ship to dry
villages.
Reminder
Since Fedex
must get an adult signature to deliver this product, it may be easier
to have the package held at your nearest Fedex office for pickup at
your convenience. If Fedex attempts delivery and there is no
adult available to sign for the product, it will be returned to me.
Amounts
Alaska
State law limits direct sales to consumers to less than 5 gallons (25 –
750ml bottles) per order. If you have a valid liquor license of any
kind in your state, I can sell to you in any quantity.
